I’ve always made my love known her in so many ways, from a comforting touch, smile or just listening. Caring enough to ask questions are all the ways I have shown her my love. Well now she spends most of her days in a classroom or working part time to get by and I can’t be there physically to help her and give that love! I needed a why to rap her in my love, I needed, with everything inside of me to continue to pour into her values, to remind her of her strengths! Hey I love my daughter and she knows it and I am so happy and proud of the young lady that she’s turning out to be. She went through a very difficult situation and it caused her to question herself!…This blanket is a way that I can continue to send my love and all the things that I appreciate about her. She is my one and only daughter and I have let her know that God sent her for me and that I believe there’s nothing she can’t do, that she is capable of doing any and everything she puts her mind to. I’m sorry I could go on and on but I gave it to her for Christmas and she looked at it and smiled and we watched my grandchildren opening their presents and I looked up at her and she was crying, saying that she appreciated the support that she has from her family! And of course she came and sat on my lap and we hugged and cried together in our little moment. So now when she goes back to school, she’ll have a cozy reminder of her mother’s love!
